About Me!
Hi, I’m Tatiana.

While most travelers focus on Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, I found myself drawn north. I fell in love with Hokkaido’s wide-open landscapes, incredible seafood, snowy winters, mountain scenery, flower fields, hot springs, and slower pace of life.

Since then, I’ve returned again and again, exploring everything from the streets of Sapporo and the canals of Otaru to remote mountain regions, national parks, ski resorts, and hidden local gems.
Hokkaido Obsessed was created to share everything I’ve learned along the way.

This site is designed for travelers who want practical, honest, and detailed information about visiting Japan’s northern island. You’ll find guides to cities, attractions, food, transportation, seasonal travel, family-friendly activities, and lesser-known places that many visitors miss.

I’m especially passionate about helping independent travelers plan memorable trips without feeling overwhelmed by complicated information.
When I’m not exploring Hokkaido, you’ll usually find me researching my next trip, photographing beautiful places, or searching for the best local food I can find.

My goal is simple: to help you experience the Hokkaido that made me fall in love with it.
Whether you’re planning your first visit or your fifth, I hope these guides help you discover something new.

Welcome to Hokkaido Obsessed.
